1. Purpose

These Guidelines are intended to outline the minimum standards members must follow in using the adobaRo Service for legal compliance, copyright protection, and adherence to third-party platform policies.

adobaRo does not provide content creation, editing, review, or censorship functions, and these Guidelines have been established to ensure the stable operation of the Service and to clarify the scope of responsibilities.

2. Basic Principles

1. Members bear full responsibility for their own content and actions.

2. The Company bears no responsibility for the content, legality, accuracy, or cultural appropriateness of the content provided or linked by members.

3. The Company is not obligated to pre-screen, review, or monitor content, and may take action in accordance with relevant laws and internal policies if a problem occurs.

4. The Company is not obligated to modify, inspect, interpret, evaluate, mediate, or censor members' content, nor is it obligated to make judgments or take action on individual content at a member's request.

3. Prohibited Content

The following content cannot be used on the adobaRo Service (including but not limited to localization, uploading, transmission, etc.):

- Illegal content (copyright infringement, defamation, exposure of personal information, violation of portrait rights, etc.)

- Sexual content (especially including sexual expressions related to minors)

- Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm

- Content containing discrimination, hate, insults, or abusive language

- Content that promotes illegal drugs, weapons, or crime

- False information that could cause significant social harm

- Content that violates the policies or operating standards of third-party platforms (YouTube, Bilibili, etc.)

※ adobaRo does not assume the responsibility of determining the legality of the content, and in the event of disputes, reports, or platform sanctions, all responsibility lies with the member.

4. Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights

1. Members must use the Service only with content for which they legally hold the rights to use.

2. The following acts are prohibited:

- Localizing another person's video after an unauthorized download

- Unauthorized use of copyrighted works such as music, images, or clips

- Using trademarks, logos, or brands without permission

- Re-uploading or redistributing the content of others

3. The Company does not bear the obligation to confirm or verify the legality or copyright ownership of content provided by members.

4. If copyright infringement is confirmed or suspected, the Company may restrict Service use in accordance with its internal policies.

5. All disputes arising between members or between a member and a third party, including but not limited to copyright, portrait rights, defamation, and contractual disputes, must be resolved between the parties involved, and the Company does not bear the obligation to intervene or mediate therein.

5. Responsibility for AI Output

1. AI-generated translations, subtitles, dubbing, etc., may contain errors, omissions, or cultural inappropriateness.

2. If output is posted on an external platform through the use of the Service, the member must review the output themselves.

3. The Company is not liable for any issues arising from the use of AI output (e.g., mistranslations, legal disputes, platform sanctions).

4. AI translation, subtitling, dubbing, and upload automation may experience errors, omissions, or delays due to technical limitations, external platform restrictions, or API policy changes, and the Company is not liable for such technical errors.

6. Compliance with Third-Party Platform Policies

Members must comply with the community guidelines, terms of service, content policies, copyright policies, and laws of the applicable country for all external platforms linked with the Service, such as YouTube, Bilibili, Rednote, and Kuaishou.

The Company is not liable if some or all of the Service's features are restricted or do not function due to external platform policy changes, API suspension, restrictions, errors, etc.

If a member distributes or shares content generated or processed through adobaRo to external platforms or third parties, all resulting issues and legal responsibilities lie with the member, and the Company is not liable for them.

6.1 Scope of Compliance

- Community guidelines and operational policies of each platform

- Policies related to copyright and intellectual property rights

- Platform-specific posting regulations such as for advertising, display, and metadata

- Country-specific laws and regulations related to content (e.g., Cyber Security Law of the People’s Republic of China, etc.)

- Regulations on sensitive topics and prohibited content set by the platform

6.2 Scope of Responsibility

- All measures, including account suspension, content deletion, exposure restrictions, and revenue restrictions, resulting from violations of third-party platform policies are the responsibility of the member.

- The Company is not involved in and bears no responsibility for changes in platform policies, review results, sanctions, etc.

- Members are responsible for checking the latest policies of the relevant platform before distributing content.

6.3 Regulation on Platform Scalability

This clause applies equally to all new platforms (including global and regional platforms other than YouTube) that the Company may support or integrate with in the future.

7. Security and Account Integrity

The following actions are prohibited:

- Misappropriating another's account

- Use of automated scripts or bots

- Creating and abusing multiple accounts

- Distributing spam, advertisements, or fraudulent links through localized channels

- Phishing, fraud, and other deceptive acts

- Exploiting Service vulnerabilities or attempting to access the system

Members must manage their own account security and must immediately report any suspicious activity to the Company.

The Company is not responsible for account theft, content deletion, or sanctions on external platform accounts, etc., caused by the member's carelessness (password leaks, insufficient device security, etc.).

Additionally, the Company may take temporary restrictive or protective measures against suspicious activities when necessary to enhance security.

8. Personal Information and Privacy

The following actions are prohibited:

- Disclosing another person's personal information without their consent

- Exposing a minor's personal information

- Stalking, surveillance, or persistent harassment

- Inclusion of sensitive personally identifiable information

All issues arising from personal information included by the member in the content are the sole responsibility of the member, and the Company is not responsible for any exposure, storage, or redistribution that occurs on external platforms.

The Company is not obligated to conduct a pre-screen or post-screen of content uploaded by members to determine whether it contains personal information.

9. Measures for Violations

The Company may take the following measures (within the minimum necessary scope):

- Warning or guidance

- Suspension of processing or deletion of the violating content

- Restriction of specific features or API integration

- Temporary suspension or termination of account

- Reporting to relevant authorities if a violation of law is evident

The Company does not bear the obligation of prior monitoring, and all measures are taken at the Company's discretion.

Furthermore, measures may be partially restricted or impossible due to the policies and technical limitations of external platforms.

The Company is not under any legal or contractual obligation to take specific measures even if a report or complaint is received, and the decision to take measures and their scope are determined at the Company's discretion.

10. Legal Compliance and Cooperation

The Company may cooperate with relevant authorities in the following situations, to the extent permitted by law:

- A request from an investigative agency or a court

- Investigation related to copyright or illegal content

- Imminent threat to life, body, or safety

- When otherwise required by law

The Company provides only the minimum necessary information when required by law.

11. Changes to the Guidelines

These Guidelines may be changed in accordance with changes in laws, external platform policies, or Service improvements, and any changes will be announced through a notice within the Service.

If necessary, a separate notice may be provided to Users.
